Mr. Cimino called the meeting to order at 6:05 pm.

Application for Schedule Change- Mr. Cimino circulated the final draft of the new schedule change policy for comments. The purpose of this policy is to delineate a process a student/parent can follow if a change in schedule is requested. The committee voted to unanimously accept the policy. Follow-up: Policy to be published in school handbook.

6^th Grade Transition: After soliciting comments from JMS staff, Mr. Cimino presented a draft schedule for the 6^th grade Open House. Starting September 2007, 6^th graders will have their Orientation and Open House night combined and held prior to the start of school. Parents will be able to meet teachers and receive orientation to the Skyward system. 6^th graders will receive locker assignments and their schedule. Follow-up: Agenda and date will be distributed to 5^th grade parents during Spring meetings at the elementary schools.

Budget Advisory Committee- Dan Swanson gave an overview of the BAG committee including the agenda for presentations.

District Strategic Planning Committee- Mariel Plager-Brockway volunteered to attend the first meeting of the Strategic Planning Committee.
