Jefferson Student Support Organization

Welcome to the JSSO Page!

JSSO stands for Jefferson Student Support Organization. JSSO is a parent group (much like a PTA/PTO) dedicated to Jefferson students and staff. Our primary focus is to earn money and give support through volunteer hours and financial gifts to the school. The JSSO operates the student store, which is our primary fundraising activity. Income is also generated through the $15 per year dues that families pay for JSSO membership. JSSO gives money back to the school in the form of teacher grants (supplies, special projects, etc.), speakers for the sound system, a barbecue grill for school socials, sports uniforms, annual mom’s and dad’s breakfasts, 8th grade celebration, staff appreciation events and teen activity nights. These are all items that are not included in the school’s budget, so JSSO plays an important part in the school.

JSSO meetings are held on the 4th Monday of each month at 5:30 in the Jefferson staff room.
