Principal Note

For November/December, our Jag Crew has chosen the theme of perseverance - a perfect point of contemplation for going into the winter months! This Maya Angelou quotation is their selection for the new theme. Starting with preparedness and now moving on to perseverance, our Jag Crew is doing such a great job with setting the tone for student success this year, and today, they also led us in our first Spirit Assembly! Way to go, student leaders!
We are also grateful here at the end of Conference Week for all of the partnership that we were able to deepen this week. Thank you for coming out to connect, to provide and receive context for student learning that happens both at home and at school, and in many cases to meet some of your student’s teachers for the first time.
As we move through fall, we are also moving through the school calendar of extracurriculars! On Thursday night, we enjoyed a spectacular - and spooktacular - choir concert, and next week, we start our second sports season. We’re glad to see so many Jaguars bravely extending themselves into new activities! Have a great weekend, Jefferson community!
