KJAG-TV Student Story Contest

The students of KJAG-TV are running a "Scary Story" contest.  All students at Jefferson Middle School are invited to participate.  Want to enter?  All you have to do is write a scary story and send it to KJAGTV@gmail.com.

There are a few guidelines for the story that you should keep in mind before submitting:

1. The story must be submitted as a Word or Google Doc, be no more than two pages in length, double-spaced, and in 12-point Times New Roman or Calibri font.
2.  The story must be school-appropriate.
3.  The story must be submitted to KJAG students for review no later than midnight on September 30.  Any stories received after that date will be disqualified.
4.  The body of your email should include your full name and grade, but that should not appear anywhere on your story document itself.

How it works:

Student editors and leaders will look at all of the scary stories submitted and will select three stories to be considered for the contest using a grading rubric.  Then, students will listen to the stories on KJAG and vote for their favorite.  The winner will be announced the final week of October.

Good fright and good luck!
