6th Grade Supply Lists

 

***Please check your child’s schedule prior to purchasing supplies***

  • Two 2” or 1 ½” three ring binder
  • Three-pronged pocket folders
  • 1 one-inch binder
  • 1 pencil pouch
  • 1 box colored pencils
  • 6 glue sticks (.75 oz. each)
  • 3 College-ruled, lined paper
  • 3 composition notebooks
  • 2 Pack dividers
  • Graph paper ¼ inch
  • 4 boxes pencils & hand-held pencil sharpener OR mechanical pencils
  • 1 Pack of pens (blue or black, ballpoint)
  • Two white board markers – blue or black
  • Ruler
  • Calculator
  • Index cards
  • 2 boxes of tissue (ex. Kleenex)
  • Scissors
  • 1 Sanitizing wipes

   

Physical Education & Health:

  • PE shirts can be purchased from JMS during the first week of each semester
  • PE shorts or sweats should have an elastic waist, and no pockets, zippers, buttons, or flaps (pajama pants are not appropriate for PE)
  • Running shoes, basketball shoes, cross-training shoes, and tennis shoes are all acceptable shoes for PE. No Crocks, slides, or flip-flops are allowed for PE class
  • You can leave deodorant, toothpaste, etc. in your gym locker if you would like
  • A combination lock for the locker in the locker room
  • One 1 ½” 3-ring binder with 5 dividers, pen, pencil, and highlighter
  • Refillable water bottle

 

Accent Achievement Book

6th Grade Band (Please wait to purchase until instrument is assigned/decide)

  • Accent on Achievement Book 1 *for assigned instrument*
  • Pencil
